Today we went to Sokolniki with a couple other families. It's an outdoor play area you pay to get into with ice sculptures, ice slides, ice mazes, an ice play house and more things made out of....well, ice! :) We all parked on the side walk like all the other Russians do. It was pretty cold...about 15 degrees but it didn't keep us from having fun! We stayed for a couple of hours. Nadya was tucked away in her car seat most of the time but we got her out after a while and bundled her up. Ty's most favorite part was going down the ice slides. He was racing with his buddies. James said that was his favorite thing to do too. Heath and I went down a couple of times but mostly just enjoyed watching the kids play. On the way out Tyler saw a lady with a big furry hat like mine and started talking to her in English because he though it was me. He was surprised to find out it was a babushka and

not me! It was pretty funny.
We went to McDonald's on the way home for a bathroom break, to warm up and to eat. It was packed as usual. This one we went to was two floors. We table stalked and got a nice booth. Heath did a great job of rocking the car out of our
sloppy parking area and got us home safely. We ended with a cup of hot chocolate. Doesn't get much better than this! :)
